Our Ranch

Siller Land & Longhorns is located in the Sierra Foothills of California, in a small town called Penn Valley. We purchased our ranch in 2016 and soon to follow our first 3 non-registered longhorns. We very quickly fell in love with the breed and it did not take us long to purchase more property and completely start over with registered Texas longhorns. In no time at all our herd grew to over 100. Go big or go home seems to be Mac's way of doing things and those that know him, know just how very true this is. At our ranches (Penn Valley, Ca, Elk Creek, Ca and Yantis, Tx) you can see beautiful longhorns along with dogs (a lot of dogs), horses, goats, donkeys, zebras and zonkeys. With our sometimes-stressful everyday jobs, these longhorns bring so much enjoyment and peacefulness to our VERY busy lives. Taking care of the ranches is more of a hobby to us although our 3 kids (Jonathan, Logan and Kayley) might disagree with that. We go above (way above) and beyond to care for our furry family members and take pride in doing so. A weekend well spent always includes spending time out in the pastures!

Purchasing registered longhorns from across the country, we have not only acquired some of the best genetics but have made some amazing, lifelong friends. We strive to breed the best registered Texas Longhorns with beautiful colors, magnificent horns, total body conformation and the most important trait, a friendly and docile personality.
